DEEP Power distributor

DEEP : Deep Earthed Electric Purity : A unique power distributor concept.

This high-end power distributor is composed of 6 demagnetized Furutech Schuko FIE30 mains sockets with gold-plated phosphor-bronze connectors and an IEC socket with gold-plated pure copper connectors. Internal cabling is in star formation with shielded pure OCC multistrand copper for both live and neutral, allowing equivalent current distribution to the Schuko sockets. No soldering is employed, hence « Electric Purity ». 

A gold-plated copper earth terminal allows grounding of network streamer, audio server or internet box, so as to depollute unwanted local area network noise. An earthing cable 1.3 m in length, with ethernet (RJ 45) and gold-plated copper spade connectors, is provided to connect an internet box or music server to ground. Upon demand, EDL Audio can provide specific grounding cable(s). The earth terminal also connects the power distributor housing to ground.

In addition, a piezoelectric system is incorporated into the power distributor so as to reinforce grounding, hence « Deep Earthed ». The box is made of aluminium equipped with an additional layer of internal shielding against electromagnetic interference, contains no fuses, filters or mains surge protection so as to facilitate freely flowing electricity for an optimized listening experience. The distributor sits on cone-shaped rubber feet.

The power distributor is handcrafted near Clermont Ferrand in the Auvergne region of France prior to electrical and listening tests.

Optimal performance will be attained after 200 hours of use.
